Fire Training

Our training courses are run by our own trainers and certificates of attendance are awarded to all delegates. We offer a comprehensive range of courses including:

  • Fire safety awareness training (theory only)
  • Fire safety awareness training (including practical fire extinguisher use)
  • Fire warden training
  • Practical fire extinguisher training

It is a legal requirement for staff to have an adequate level of fire safety training. The level will vary depending on the size of the company and the inherent risks within the workplace. Depending on the fire risk assessment and the subsequent fire policy/emergency plan, selected staff (competent persons) will be required to train to a set level.

FSC1 Fire Training Courses

Each employees will require a basic level of fire awareness training. This will vary with the level of risk in the premises. All premises will require persons to aid in the fire evacuation of the building and to ensure persons are accounted for. This role will fall to the fire warden, along with on-going fire management duties.

Fire Awareness Training

Fire Safety awareness training covers: legal requirements, chemistry of fire, fire action and procedures, classification of fire and types of fire extinguishers. Maximum 20 persons. Duration of 3 Hour (approximately). On completion of the course, attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. Fire Evacuation/Drill Exercise

FSC1 can offer a service which will conduct the whole process for you with minimum disruption, and will be observed and timed by a member of our fire safety team. We will then be able to give you advice on how to improve the evacuation procedure and will complete a post-evacuation report highlighting any actions deemed necessary or improvements that maybe required. This document fulfils your responsibility of recording, monitoring and improving the emergency plan required under the current fire legislation.
